Iva Ljubomirova
FLUTE
Iva Lubomirova, born in 1975 in Sofia, Bulgaria, began playing the flute at seven. She debuted as a soloist at fourteen with the Bulgarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and started her international career the same year with a recital in Belgrade.
She won numerous national and international awards, including Best Young Musician at the International Radio Competition for Eastern Europe. She graduated from the State Music Academy in Sofia under Prof. G. Spassov and specialized in the United States with Prof. James Walker in Los Angeles and Prof. Jil Felber in Santa Barbara, also receiving a full assistantship at Southern Illinois University under Prof. Susanne Lord.
She studied in Europe at Folkwang Hochschule in Essen, Germany, and obtained her master’s degree (Konzertdiplom) in 2002 from Music Hochschule Winterthur, Switzerland. Lubomirova has performed across Europe, North and Latin America, held principal flute positions in several orchestras, and participated in numerous international festivals. Since 2005, she is a permanent professor at the National Music College L. Pipkov in Sofia and holds a Ph.D. in Music Arts.
Anđela Bratić
FLUTE
Anđela Bratić (1980) is one of Serbia’s leading flutists, awarded the “Muzika klasika” prize for Best Female Performer in 2014. She graduated from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade and completed postgraduate studies at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany, in Prof. Dejan Gavrić’s class, earning the title of Concert Soloist.
She has performed as a soloist with orchestras including the Ho Chi Minh Symphony Orchestra (Vietnam), RTS Symphony Orchestra, Banja Luka Philharmonic, Symphony Orchestra “Symphony Sofia,” Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra “Symphony Vidin,” Chamber Orchestra Prague, and Chamber Orchestra “Symphony di Udine” under renowned conductors.
She has participated in major festivals in Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia, and Bosnia, held solo recitals worldwide including a 2013 recital at the Kennedy Center in Washington, and conducted master classes in Europe and Asia.
She is a member of the “Chamber Band” quartet, and her CDs “Fantasy” (2016) and “Inspired by the Flute” (2020) feature works by Serbian composers. Since 2021, she is a full professor at the Faculty of Arts, University of Niš.


Dušan Aksentijević
PIANO
Dušan Aksentijević, pianist, was born in Kragujevac, Serbia. He completed elementary and secondary music school in Kragujevac and partly in Oslo, Norway (Barratt Due Musikkinstitutt). He graduated from the Faculty of Philology and Arts in Kragujevac under Prof. Sanja Vukosavljević-Milenić and obtained a master’s degree in piano performance.
During his studies, he won numerous national and international piano competitions and attended masterclasses with musicians including Boris Kraljević, Yuri Kot, and Marina Pliassova. He has performed in Serbia, Italy, Norway, Vietnam, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro, and is the founder and director of the international classical music festivals “Golden Sounds” (Zlatibor) and “Kontrasti” (Podgorica).
He taught at the “Vojislav-Lale Stefanović” Music School in Užice and his students have received awards nationally and internationally. He is currently employed at the “Stanković” Music School in Belgrade.
