PIANO

Аndrea Turini is an Italian pianist with a forty-year concert career. He performs the works of great composers such as Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann, Liszt, Chopin, Brahms, Debussy, Ravel, and Fauré with particular passion.

Thanks to his extraordinary interpretations and achievements in important international piano competitions, Turini has an intense concert career in prestigious concert halls around the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, Salle „A. Cortot“ in Paris, and the National Auditorium in Madrid. He is regularly invited to prestigious international festivals in Italy, Spain, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, Norway, North Macedonia, Poland, Switzerland, Austria, Israel, and the United States.

He is also active as a chamber musician, a member of the Agorà Piano Quartet, and collaborates with renowned soloists. It is important to highlight his long-term collaboration with the famous String Trio of Florence, as well as his extensive activity as a piano duo.

Turini regularly performs as a soloist with orchestras such as the Orchestra Musici Aurei, the Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina, and the Orchestra Sinfonica di Sanremo. He has made recordings for RAI, Yugoslav, and North Macedonian television and radio. His CD featuring Bach’s Goldberg Variations received enthusiastic reviews.

As a teacher, Andrea Turini is highly regarded and a passionate and dedicated educator. Many of his students are winners of national and international competitions. He is currently a piano professor at the „Gioacchino Rossini“ Conservatory in Pesaro, where he is also the coordinator of the Keyboard and Percussion Instruments Department and a member of the Academic Council. He regularly gives masterclasses and is often invited to serve as a juror and president of international piano competitions. He is the artistic director of the Accademia Musicale Valdarnese and the “Humberto Quagliata Città di San Giovanni Valdarno“ International Piano Competition.
