Miloš Mijatović
CLARINET
Miloš Mijatović (1982), graduated in clarinet at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in the class of prof. Nikola Srdić and Aleksandar Tasić. Specialist studies completed at the Faculty of Arts in Niš in the class of prof. Ante Grgin.
He trained with eminent professors such as: J. Gilad, M. Collins, M. Bekavac, E. Molinari and M. Arignon. Winner of the first prize at the International Competition in Barletta, Italy in 2005 and 2006. Second prize at the International Competition of Young Musicians in Padua, Italy. Special award for the International Competition of Chamber Ensembles in Subotica.
The Ministry of Culture and the University of Novi Sad gave him a special award for artistic activities, and in 2011 he received a scholarship from the Swedish government. He performed as a soloist with the orchestra of the Academy of Arts from Novi Sad in Italy, France, Austria, Sweden, England and Serbia. He performed at some of the most important festivals in Serbia and abroad: NOMUS, International Tribune of Composers, International Festival in Trollhäten, Sweden, Music Festival in London, England and IMPULS International City for Contemporary Academy.
From 2001-2006, he performed as the first clarinetist of the Symphony Orchestra of the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. Since 2005, he has been a permanent member of the International Orchestra of Southern Eastern Europe as first clarinetist. He recorded for TV and radio stations in the country and abroad (RTS, RTV, ART TV). He plays Selmer clarinets, a Recital model.
Since 2013, he has been a regular member of the No Borders Orchestra, with whom he performs in the country and abroad. He is a regular member of the International Association of Clarinetists ICA in America and the European Association of Clarinetists.
Worked as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Arts, University of Niš, Serbia.
Jan Zlámal
CELLO
He finished elementary music school in Prague, cello department. In 2010, he enrolled at the Prague Conservatory, in the class of Professor Renata Strašrybkova. He enrolled at the Academy of Musical Arts in Brno. He is a member of various chamber ensembles and orchestras. Participated in various tours in the Czech Republic and abroad as a member of the orchestra. Permanently employed as leader of the cello group and concertmaster at the Silesian Theater in Opava. In addition, he is engaged in pedagogical work and often plays as a part-time member of the orchestra of the Moravian-Silesian National Theater in Ostrava.
Václav Kolek
2nd VIOLIN
He studied at the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava, where he successfully completed his education in the violin department. After graduating from the conservatory, he enrolled in the violin department of the University of Ostrava, where he completed his undergraduate studies. He is currently studying for a master’s degree at the same faculty. During his schooling, he participated in several competitions in the Czech Republic, winning second place at the Talents for Europe competition in the chamber music category and also second place at the Classicism and String Instruments competition in Brno. He currently works as a part-time violinist in the orchestra of the Moravian-Silesian National Theater in Ostrava, and in addition he is engaged in pedagogy as a private violin teacher.
Zdeněk Procházka
VIOLA
After completing the Basic Art School in Opava, he enrolled in the Gymnasium in Opava, and after finishing high school, he enrolled in the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava, in the viola department, which he is currently attending. He is a member of the Dorato string quartet, with whom he won numerous awards at the Camerata Teplice, Talents for Europe, Karl Ditters from Dittersdorf competitions. He participated in a tour with the Bohemian Symphony Orchestra, playing at concerts in Berlin, Paris, Barcelona. Since 2020, he has been a member of the opera orchestra of the Silesian Theater in Opava, Czech Republic.
Arpad Nađ
VIOLIN
He completed his violin studies at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, in the class of prof. Evgenije Kravtsev. He played in several chamber ensembles and orchestras, including the Novi Sad Chamber Orchestra, the Zrenjanin Chamber Orchestra, and the Ad Libitum chamber music workshop. He was a member of the Vojvodina Symphony Orchestra. As part of the string quartet Il Belpaese, he performed throughout Serbia and abroad, performing both a program of classical quartet repertoire and works by modern authors. He was also employed at the school for musical talents in Ćuprija as a violin teacher. Arpad worked as a teacher at the Bartok Bela music school in Ada. He was a long-time member of the Kotor Art Festival Orchestra in Montenegro, whose concertmaster and coordinator he was 2 years. Since 2020, employed as a member of the opera orchestra of the Silesian Theater in Opava, Czech Republic.
