Zoran Stanisavljević
CONDUCTOR
Zoran Stanisavljević, MA (1972), graduated in Conducting in 2001 at the Faculty of Arts in Prishtina in the class of prof. Jovan Šajnović, and in 2006 he received his master’s degree from the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade, in the class of prof. Jovan Šajnović and prof. Darinka Matić – Marović.
He was the assistant conductor of the Academic Choir of the SKC of the University of Niš from 1999 to 2004. In 2004, he founded the Women’s Choir of the Student Cultural Center Niš.
He has performed with these ensembles in Republika Srpska, Slovenia, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Greece, Belarus, Spain and Italy.
During the 2002/3 season. he was hired as an assistant conductor of the Nis Symphony Orchestra. He also performed with: the Serbian Army Symphony Orchestra “Stanislav Binički” – Belgrade; the Orchestra of the Faculty of Arts in Niš, the Chamber Orchestra of SKC Niš; the Chamber Orchestra „Amorozo“ – Leskovac; the Chamber Orchestra – Niš; the Chamber Orchestra New Music- Nis; Chamber Orchestra Imperio of which he was the co-founder in 2010; the Chamber Orchestra Bitola, N. Macedonia; the Chamber Orchestra Polyphony, N. Macedonia.
With the Women’s Choir of the SKC of the University of Niš, he won numerous prizes and awards: Gold Medal in the category of women’s choirs at the International Choir Competition 2007 in Bijeljina, Republic of Srpska; Award for the best performed program as a whole at IHS 2008. in Niš; First prize in the category of women’s choirs at the International Choir Competition in Maribor, Slovenia 2011; At the Choir Week of the European Choir Association in 2010 in Niš, he was elected vocal pedagogue of the Euro Choir.
He was a member of the Art Council of IHS in Niš in the period 2004 – 2010. Since 2012, he has taken over the Academic Choir of the Student Cultural Center of the University of Niš, as a conductor and artistic director. With this ensemble he wins prestigious awards: First prize Vojislav Ilic in the category of large choirs and conductors at the Festival Choirs among frescoes in 2013 in Belgrade; Grand Prix and Award Best Conductor of the Festival at the International Festival of Choirs Black Sea Sounds in Balchik, Bulgaria, 2016; Silver medal at the choir competition in Cieszyn, Poland; First Prize of the International Choir Competition Canakkale 2019, Turkey.
Within the framework of international projects, he achieved successful cooperation with the Choir „24“ from York, Great Britain and the Choir of the New Bulgarian University from Sofia (IPA project). He has performed with the Academic Choir in: Austria, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Republic of Srpska, Poland, Slovenia, Slovakia, France and Turkey. Since 2012, he has been engaged in the Nis Symphony Orchestra as a guest conductor.
He is a member of expert juries at festivals in the country and abroad. He works as a full professor at the Faculty of Arts in Niš.
Robert Lakаtoš
VIOLIN
„The ideal soloist with a gorgeous, confident tone, who always strives to amaze the audience with his virtuosity“ (P. Connors, Bachtrack), violinist Robert Lakatos, won the First Prize at the prestigious International Violin Competition in Pamplona, Spain in 2015.
This young artist previously won the First Prize at the Mary Smart Competition in New York in 2013, and the prestigious awards at the Andrea Postacchini Competitions in Italy and the Youth of Music Competitions in Romania. These successes opened the door to his international career on the world’s renowned music scenes.
Robert Lakatos performed with the symphony orchestras of Navarre, Malaga, Madrid, Göttingen, Krakow, Monterey, Zürich, Istanbul, Ljubljana, Novi Sad, as well as with the Belgrade Philharmonic.
He has collaborated with eminent conductors of today, such as Gabriel Feltz, Uros Lajovic, James Judd, Manuel Hernández-Silva, Fabio Machetti, Nicholas Milton, Lior Shambadal, Antoni Wit, Philip Greenberg, Aleksandar Markovic and many others.
Robert Lakatos was born in Novi Sad in 1991. He grew up in a musical family, where his mentor was his father, Imre Lakatos. He later graduated in the class of prof. Dejan Mihailovic at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. He continued his studies at the University of Arts in Zürich, and at the same time he professionally developed with top artists such as A. Rosend,
J. Rahlin, R. Simovic and R. Koelman. These experiences provided him with a lasting artistic quality that he developed by engaging in both concert and pedagogical activities.
Robert Lakatos currently works as a Violin Professor at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad and Faculty of Music in Belgrade. Since 2018, he has been the Artistic Director of the Robert Lakatos Chamber String Orchestra, composed of the artist’s students, which aims to promote young violin virtuosos.
He is the winner of the Cultural Sparkle Award 2017, a recognition of the Institute for Culture of Vojvodina, which is awarded for contemporary creativity to a young artist up to 35 years of age.
Robert plays the violin of Antonio Stradivari from 1709, from the private collection of the famous bow maker Vladimir Radosavljević, whose bows he also uses.
